Stunner is a bright white son of Alpaca Palace's Houdini and Sunset Hills Zenterfold.
Sunset Hills Zenterfold represents a fusion of powerhouse genetics that create her elite fleece… sire, the late 382 Peruvian Zephyrus, and on the Dam's side, Sunset Hills Positively Perfect out of Seena's Goldilocks and sire, AML El Duro's Principio. Her fleece is very fine, bright, high amplitude, high frequency crimp, highly organized with consistent character. She is a compact female with a great phenotype head-style. Zenterfold one of the last female offspring of the late great Zephyrus.
Alpaca Palace's Houdini is a 9 time Champion, 3 time 1st Place Get of Sire showing 9 offspring. His offspring are cookie cutter consistent. He passes on his extreme brightness, fineness, high frequency character, consistency throughout the fleece and his Extreme DENSITY and BRIGHTNESS. Houdini's skin biopsy results, prepared by C. Norman Evans, DVM, at 4.5 years of age: shows true density is 82.93 follicles SQ MM of skin while 25 fiber clusters show an average S/P of 10.2 to 1. He shows level 3 of 4 glands which should relate to fiber brightness and appears to be a genetic trait passed from the male to their offspring.
Stunner is a prototypical alpaca herdsire, carrying a very robust boxy frame. He has great substance of BONE and a very dense, long, soft, crimpy fleece!!!. Without a doubt Stunner lives up to his name!!! Stunner 2019 EPDs are impressive: top 1% for MC, top 3 % for AFD and SF, and top 15% for SDAFD, %F>30, and % M.
Stunner placed 1st at AOA Nationals as a juvenile and took a RC at Fall Fest in 2017! Judge Amanda VandenBosch said when Stunner grows up some he will be hard to beat. He is ready to work to improve your herd and is settling females at Flying Iron Ranch!
